Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of performance management in measuring the performance of education personnel in higher education. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach sourced from journals, books, and research reports. The results of the study show that good performance management can improve the motivation, professionalism, and quality of work of education personnel. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as lack of training, unclear assessment indicators, and limited use of technology. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the performance evaluation system to be more effective in supporting the improvement of service quality and the achievement of the goals of higher education in Indonesia.
